Leixlip Youth and Community Centre
The centre was designed to the needs of LYPG a local youth group, Kildare County Council and Leixlip Town Council. The existing building Newtown House is a Protected Structure and we designed a very modern extension to contrast the original farmhouse building carefully interlocking both buildings. The extension includes a Multi-Purpose Hall, Youth Room, Seating and Reception Area and ancillary spaces.
The original building was converted into offices together with the Council Chamber for Leixlip Town Council. The buildings now sits on a campus style site with The Leixlip Library, The Leixlip Community and Youth Centre, and Leixlip Town Council.
